I can now look at the petals,
The pinks and yellows,
And know that winter takes rest.
Spring is dancing
In the spinning sun,
And the deep greens paint
The branches that long
For their cover and protection.
Daylight lasting
A bit longer each day.
I am alive in the winds.
I don't wish for this to end
As we cherish the petals.
Sweet-smelling breezes
Take us home.
Winter can continue to sleep.
